Greene County Fair, July 12-18

The tradition continues with the Greene County Fair this week. Greene County Extension and Outreach staff and the all-volunteer Greene County Fair board have planned a full schedule of events.

Saturday evening the Lucas Oil Tractor & Truck Pull will be in the grandstand, also at 7 pm. The VFW Café will be open under the grandstand both evenings.

There is an admission charge for the grandstand entertainment.

4-H / FFA animal judging begins with the poultry and dog shows on Wednesday. Thursday, the swine take over the show ring while the horses and ponies have a show that afternoon. Rabbit judging will be done that day as well.

Friday finds the sheep and goats in the show ring. Beef pen of three and herd building judging is also slated. Pets will strut their stuff Friday afternoon followed by the 4-H fashion show.
